1 1/2 cups cooked garbanzo beans
(or one 15oz can, drained)
2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 Tablespoons tahini
(available at health food stores and
the international aisle at the grocery store)
2 Tablespoons water
(additional water may be needed)
2 Tablespoons olive oil
or 1/2 cup sun dried tomatos
1/2 teaspoon celtic sea salt
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
You will also need a blender, a vitamix or a food processor.
Step 1: Place all the ingredients into a blender, or food processor.
Step 2: Blend until smooth and creamy.
*Suggestions... Serve with a sprouted bagle and top with some sprouts, tomato, cucumber. Add salt and pepper to taste.
