Just received the Corydalis shipment. Not sure what concentration or dosage and in what medium, as well as what frequency it should be taken. I am in constant and frequently excruciating pain and rarely get a full night of sleep. Thus far I have not found satisfactory medical treatment and pain management. Currently under chiropractic care and on the following prescription meds: Linzess, Lactulose, Nexium, Levothyroxin, Temazepam, Alprazolam and Lisinopril.

    Please advise.

How long does it take for Corydalis to become effective as a pain medication? I read somewhere you needed to take it for several weeks.

    Thank you.

Hi there, some people actually feel it after the very first dose. This is because it actually works with the P-receptors to help to reduce the sensation of pain. It is also a blood moving herb and helps to move the blood as well as bring fresh oxygen to an area. This is that part that will take longer to kick in. It could easily take 1-3 weeks for enough movement and increased blood flow to that area to be able to notice it. Please feel free to call me anytime with any questions that you may not want to post
